Who we are
About Teton Tour Guides: Your Trusted Experts for Grand Teton & Yellowstone Adventures
Teton Tour Guides is a premier professional guide service specializing in interpretive and scenic tours of Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks. With over 30 years of experience guiding visitors into the rugged backcountry of the Rocky Mountains, we make it effortless to discover the majestic mountains, winding rivers, abundant wildlife, and rich historic wonders of the Jackson Hole area spanning Wyoming, Idaho, and Montana.
Our mission is simple: to make the Rocky Mountains and its iconic national parks accessible, enjoyable, and unforgettable for everyone visiting Jackson Hole and the surrounding region. Whether you’re seeking geothermal spectacles, dramatic alpine vistas, or thrilling wildlife encounters, our private tours deliver a personalized, stress-free experience tailored to your group’s interests.
Travel in exceptional comfort aboard our fully outfitted, high-roof Ford Transit vans — widely regarded as the most luxurious and comfortable vehicles on the road for national park tours. These spacious vans feature soft leather reclining seats, cup holders, big panoramic windows for unobstructed views, Starlink internet connectivity, and a professional PA system to ensure everyone hears the guide’s fascinating commentary clearly. Full-day Yellowstone tours (10–12 hours) demand all-day comfort, and our vans provide it in style — perfect for large families, groups, or anyone who values a relaxed, first-class ride without sacrificing adventure.
As seasoned whitewater river guides, bike guides, snowmobile experts, and backcountry specialists, our team has shared adventure and interpretive experiences with thousands over three decades. Our mature, responsible guides are true professionals — not seasonal hires — for whom guiding is a lifelong passion and lifestyle. They bring extensive local knowledge of the area’s environment, history, geology, and wildlife, and are fully certified in First Aid and CPR, while holding a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) for your safety and peace of mind.
We specialize in smaller, more intimate groups, with each van accommodating up to 14 passengers plus the driver — ensuring a personal, engaging experience far from crowded buses or impersonal tours.
Let Teton Tour Guides handle the details so you can fully immerse yourself in the wonders of the American West. Your perfect national park journey awaits — book today!
Teton Tour Guides operates in Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks under a CUA (Commercial Use Agreement) and is an Authorized Permittee of Grand Teton National Park and Yellowstone National Park.

Entrance fees:
Please be aware that entrance fees to Yellowstone National Park and Grand Teton National Park are not included in the tour price.
Effective in 2025, the National Park Service has implemented a new $100 surcharge for nonresidents (valid for 7 days) for both parks. This fee is paid directly by guests on the day of the tour at the park entrance gate or via the official Recreation.gov online system in advance (recommended to avoid potential lines).
We strongly recommend purchasing your entrance pass in advance online through Recreation.gov to save time and ensure seamless entry.
Pass Options to Potentially Reduce or Eliminate the Surcharge:
- The new America the Beautiful Non-Resident Annual Pass ($250, available starting January 1, 2026) covers the $100 nonresident fee for the pass holder plus up to three additional nonresidents (aged 16+) when traveling together (including in private vehicles or commercial groups). It also covers standard entrance fees at thousands of federal recreation sites.
- U.S. residents can purchase the standard America the Beautiful Annual Pass ($80) for similar coverage without the surcharge.
- Combined access: A pass for one park often covers the other if within the 7-day validity — confirm details at the gate or online.
Guests are responsible for paying these fees directly to the National Park Service on the day of the tour (at the entrance gate) or in advance through the official Recreation.gov system.
We strongly
recommend purchasing any required passes or fees in advance online via Recreation.gov to save time and ensure seamless entry. We happy to answer questions, provide tips, and assist with this process.
We appreciate your understanding of this policy — it helps maintain high guest satisfaction by keeping expectations clear upfront. If you have questions about how this applies to your group, nationality, or itinerary, please contact us. We’re here to make your Yellowstone and Grand Teton adventure as worry-free and memorable as possible!
