Grand Teton National Park Tours

“The mountains are calling, and I must go.” John Muir co-founder of the Sierra Club

Since the beginning of time, mountains have been a great source of inspiration. The Teton Mountain range is no exception and has been providing inspiration for visitors from around the world since it was declared a national park in 1929. Twenty years later in 1949, John D. Rockefeller Jr. donated land he had purchased to the government to be included in the national park. The next year, Congress combined the original park, the national monument, and the Rockefeller land to establish present-day boundaries of Grand Teton National Park.

Located just north of Jackson Hole, Wyoming, Grand Teton National Park has an extensive history rich in culture dating back 11,000 years. Nomadic Indians, American Indian tribes, early American explorers and settlers once called this region home and you can clearly see why. Mormon Row and the Moulton Barns are some of the most photographed areas of the park. In addition to a fascinating history, Grand Tetons’ stunning landscapes and diverse wildlife like bears, elk, bison, beaver, deer, moose and more provide the perfect location for nature lovers and outdoor adventurers.
